YEREVAN. – The first Eurasian youth forum, entitled “One Step Forward,” got underway in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan on Friday. 

Delegations from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Georgia attended the official opening of the event.

The forum includes symposiums, roundtable discussions, and talks devoted to Eurasian integration. Youth organizations, active public figures, and political officials from Armenia and other CIS countries are taking part in these events.    

In addition, the forum agenda includes the launch of the “Nations’ Friendship Park” project. 

Along the lines of the forum, there are also plans to sign an agreement on creating a new multinational “Eurasian Movement,” which will unite young people of different nationalities around the idea of Eurasian integration. 

On Friday morning, the forum participants visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.
