YEREVAN.-  Armenia registered 4,000 cases of acute respiratory infections, chief expert at anti-epidemic center of the Health Ministry said.

During the Monday press conference, Liana Torosyan said the number of patients reduced dramatically as compared with the mentioned period last year.

The expert assessed epidemiological situation as “calm” which is proved by the results of the daily monitoring.

“The number of acute respiratory infections and flu cases has reduced,” she noted.
