Armenia will receive an 820,000-euro grant from the German Reconstruction Bank to receive expert services for the construction of the Armenia-Georgia electricity transmission line, the Armenian Government official website informs.

Armenia considers the construction of this new electricity line to be an opportunity to carry out—by way of Georgia’s energy system—a synchronized work with Russia and the other CIS countries, and to develop electrical energy ties with the other regional and the EU countries.
