“The loss is most painful because there are a large number of children among the victims. I extend my deep sorrow and support to you, the families of the victims, and the friendly people of the United States of America, wishing patience and fortitude, and a speedy recovery to the injured,” the President’s message of condolence reads in particular.
To note, the aforesaid tornado claimed 91 lives, whose close to four dozen were children. In addition, several hundreds were injured and numerous homes were destroyed.
