YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President, Serzh Sargsyan, on Wednesday issued a message of congratulations to Charles Aznavour—who is Armenia’s Ambassador to Switzerland, a National Hero of Armenia, and world-renowned French-Armenian singer, songwriter, actor, and public activist—on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

“Dear Charles, you are one of our times’ greatest artists who also hold high the Armenians’ name and honor in the world.    

I wish you health, [and] the strength and vigor of a youth, to continue the glorious creative and social activities which you have carried out to this day.

We love you and are proud of you,” President Sargsyan’s message reads, in particular.
