YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Georgian President and Premier Mikheil Saakashvili and Bidzina Ivanishvili on Georgia’s Independence Day.  

Georgia marks Independence Day on May 26. On this day in 1918 the National Council of Georgia declared national independence of Georgian people and creation of Democratic Republic of Georgia.
