Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II issued a message of congratulations in connection with Republic Day.

“The Republic of Armenia’s declaration, following the heroic battles of May, was a product of our nation’s desire to live freely and independently and of the fight and struggle for the reinstatement of the native state. 

The Republic Day has a meaning of encouragement, unity and consolidation, which will lead us to new victories and strengthen our nation.

We pray that God may keep our Armenian land in peace and embellish the lives of our children” the Catholicos’ message specifically states.
