YEREVAN. – The consultation meeting of a working group of the CIS Interstate Council for Hydrometeorology (CIS ICH) is held between Wednesday and Friday in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.  

The objective of the event is to discuss the future activities in aviation meteorology and to find the avenues for solving the existing problems in this domain, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations press service informs. 

The consultation meeting has brought together fifteen experts from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia, and Lithuania. 

The discussants are examining over a dozen issues.

Subsequently, respective draft decisions will be prepared, and these drafts will be introduced to the CIS ICH session which will be convened in October in Yerevan.
