Information was received, on Sunday at 8:20pm, notifying that a road accident had occurred in Gyumri city of Armenia’s Shirak Region, that there was an injured, and rescuers were needed. 

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a BMW had gone off road, for yet unknown reasons, and turned over.

Prior to the fire and rescue squad’s arrival on the scene, however, Gyumri’s Russian Federation (RF) military base headquarters servicemen, senior lieutenant, RF citizen A. Atavin, who was born in 1986, died en route to the Gyumri city medical center.
