Armenia’s Yerevan State University (YSU) and Romania’s University of Bucharest signed a memorandum of understanding and a supplementary agreement on Thursday in Bucharest.

At the presence of Armenia’s Ambassador to Romania, Hamlet Gasparyan, University of Bucharest Rector, Doctor Mircea Dumitru signed these documents which the Armenian party had already signed. 

In the ensuing talk, Ambassador Gasparyan and Doctor Dumitru agreed to organize mutual visits between the heads of the two universities, and to enhance Armenian-language teaching in Romania at university level.    

The aforesaid agreements aim to deepen collaboration between the main universities of Armenia and Romania.
