YEREVAN. – Iran hopes that Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be resolved peacefully, Ambassador Mohammad Raiesi said during the Tuesday meeting with reporters.

Iranian diplomat noted that official Tehran opposes any military actions.

“The best way is dialogue,” he added.

Mohammad Raiesi once again said that Iranian side is ready to assist settlement of the Karabakh conflict if Armenia and Azerbaijan turn for help.  

Iranian side repeatedly expressed readiness to provide assistance to Armenia and Azerbaijan in seeking ways for settlement of the conflict. The talks are being held in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group. The parties refrain from turning to additional mediators.
