YEREVAN. – The European program on the integrated research of the correlations among forecasting earthquakes, seismology, and climate change has entered its final year. 

A total of sixteen scientific research institutes and universities from nine countries are participating in this program. The National Seismic Protection Service (NSPS) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations represents Armenia in this program, the NSPS informs.

The Service already hosted geophysics and seismologists from Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Greece. In their turn, the Armenian specialists visited the seismology centers of Bulgaria and Macedonia.    

According to the participants in this program, the meetings and the joint work that were held are mutually beneficial and instructive.
