YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan Municipality Culture and Tourism Department Head Kamo Movsesyan met with Tatyana Markova, Culture and Tourism Department Director of the Municipality of Odessa, Ukraine.  

They discussed the avenues for expanding cooperation between the two cities.

Movsesyan noted that Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan underscores collaboration with other cities, and the agreements signed between Yerevan and Odessa are a good opportunity to carry out joint cultural projects, the Yerevan Municipality press service informs.   

In her turn, Markova noted that both cities have a rich culture and many things in common. She expressed a conviction that the collaboration will contribute to the development of Yerevan and Odessa, alike. 

The parties reached an agreement on holding festivals and other joint events and on exchanging knowhow.
