YEREVAN. – Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan will chair the meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS states to be held on June 20-22 in Minsk.

The meeting will discuss the already implemented and planned cultural activities in the CIS countries. Special attention will be given to the report of Permanent Representatives in the CIS bodies which will be presented at the meeting in November 2013. The delegates will also examine the concept of declaring 2014 “A Year of Tourism” in CIS.

 The delegation includes representative of Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts Ara Khzmalyan, representative of Art Expo NGO and representative of the ministry Svetlana Sahakyan.
