YEREVAN. – Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan issued a message on the health professional day in Armenia. The message posted on parliament’s official website reads:  

“Dear workers of the health care sphere, I warmly congratulate you on the Medical Worker’s Day.

Your humanitarian work has always been and remains respected, required because taking care of people’s health you return not only the joys of life, but very often even the opportunity of living. Health is the man’s biggest wealth, and it’s not accidental that the first thing we wish each other is health.

The strengthening of the health care system and making the services more accessible is one of the priorities of the social policy of our state. I am sure that our medical workers’ high professionalism, their devotion and attention towards people will be a firm basis for the reforms being implemented in the sphere and its further development.

Once again congratulating you on your professional holiday, I wish you and your close relatives happiness, welfare, successes and, of course, health. “
