YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan on Sunday received Russian Federation (RF) Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, who is in Armenia on a working visit. 

The interlocutors discussed collaboration between the two strategic allied countries, the President’s Press Office informs. They also reflected on the regional developments and challenges and the current situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.   

The Armenian President and the RF Security Council Secretary also spoke about the activities toward increasing the level of security at, and modernizing and upgrading, the checkpoints along the state border of Armenia.
