YEREVAN. – The United Nations’ International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is observed on Wednesday, June 26.

This year’s global awareness campaign is titled “Make health your ‘new high’ in life, not drugs.” 

On this occasion, the Health Ministry of Armenia calls upon everyone to express a strong will in combating the use and illicit trafficking of drugs.  

In addition, the ministry assures that it will work with more determination to prevent drug addiction, to provide accessible and quality medical services to drug addicts, and to reduce the damage caused by drug addiction.
