YEREVAN. – The Armenian Red Cross Society, with participation by dance ensembles and individual dancers, will hold an awareness campaign, on Friday at Northern Avenue in Armenian capital city Yerevan.  

The event will be held within the framework of the “Youth against HIV” program, and information tables likewise will be on hand during the campaign.   

To note, HIV/AIDS (human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome) problem is important for Armenia, too. HIV cases are registered in Armenia since 1988, and, in line with official data, there are currently 3,500 HIV carriers in the country.
