YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Seismic Protection Service provided earthquake information on Saturday at 1:34am. 

In line with this data, a 4.5-magnitude quake hit Iran, 14 kilometers northwest of Khoy city, on Saturday at 1:16am, local time.

The tremor measured magnitude 6 at the epicenter area.

The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 10 kilometers beneath the surface, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations news service informed.
