YEREVAN. – The coordination and development of health tourism in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan was discussed between the visiting delegation members from the Medical Tourism Association (MTA) and the Yerevan Municipality officials.  

The municipality officials presented the capacity and potential of the respective domains in the capital city.

In her turn, MTA President Renée-Marie Stefano noted that their organization is interested in the Yerevan environment of this domain, and she proposed to seek margins of assistance or cooperation, Municipality press service informs.     

Municipality Culture and Tourism Department Head Kamo Movsesyan stressed that several Yerevan medical facilities may interest numerous countries, in terms of their quality medical services and, accordingly, contribute to the development of health tourism in Armenia.
