STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday convened a working consultation dedicated to the issues of major construction.

NKR minister of municipal engineering Karen Shahramanyan delivered a corresponding report.

In his speech, President Sahakyan noted that the field of major construction was among the largest segments of the economy and stood aside as one of its driving forces.

At the same time, the Head of the State recommended to apply a more systematic approach to maintaining quality and schedule of construction works and the set deadlines of paying salaries.

Bako Sahakyan gave precise instructions, adding that the process would be under his immediate control.

Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan, representatives of leading construction organizations and other officials participated in the consultation.
