The 11th Armenian Medical World Congress got underway Wednesday in Los Angeles, USA.

Armenia’s Minister of Health, Derenik Dumanyan, welcomed those present with opening remarks and presented President Serzh Sargsyan’s message to the congress participants. 

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Health Minister Zoya Lazaryan, Armenia’s Consul General in Los Angeles, Grigor Hovhannisyan, and Armenian Medical International Committee President Jerry Manoukian also delivered opening remarks.

The 11th Armenian Medical World Congress brings together about 400 physicians and nurses from Canada, France, Great Britain, Russia, Armenia, and several other countries.
