The driver of a truck with gravel, which ploughed into the bus in Russia, is a 46-year-old citizen of Armenia.

Eighteen people were killed and at least 40 injured in a road crash, involving a truck, a bus and other vehicles several kilometers south from the center of Moscow. Three people died after they were hospitalized.

There is one Armenian name in the preliminary list of victims published by Life News portal.

The driver of the bus has been working since 1995. His car was in a good technical condition, RIA Novosti reported.  

The driver survived the accident but is in critical condition. According to police, he had been fined for traffic offenses six times earlier this year.
