Armenian Embassy in Moscow is taking all necessary steps in connection with the citizen of Armenia Hrachya Harutyunyan, a driver who is detained after fatal car crash near Moscow.

At the moment the embassy is in contact with his lawyer, spokesperson for the Embassy Eduard Jambazyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am Jambazyan said he would present aditionl information later.

To note, a truck crashed into a passenger bus on July 13 outside Moscow, and it was found out that the truck driver was an Armenian by the name of Hrachya Harutyunyan. The impact was so powerful that the bus had split in two. The accident claimed 18 lives and injured 64 others. The court had Harutyunyan arrested on Monday. It is noteworthy that he was brought to the courtroom with a women’s robe.
