Ureki and Shekvetili cities have been inundated after heavy rain in Georgia.

The ground floors of the houses and hotels are flooded, and furniture and electric appliances are damaged. The flood killed poultry, and vehicles are covered with water.

The locals say the water level reached one meter at dawn.

Ureki is not supplied with electricity, InterPressNews informs.

According to the locals, the heavy rainfall has caused rivers to burst their banks, and there were landslides in some areas. There is a danger that these could destroy homes.
