Armenian Development Agency (ADA) Director Robert Harutyunyan called for the participation of Iranian companies, businessmen and investors in Armenia’s economic and trade activities.

“The conditions are set for the presence of Iranian activists in all economic areas of Armenia,” Harutyunyan told Fars News Agency.

He noted that Armenia has not restricted foreign investors to invest in a particular field.

Harutyunyan said that Armenian investors are willing to invest in Iran’s Aras Free Trade Zone (FTZ).

“Aras FTZ provides good opportunities for Armenian businessmen granting them very good facilities for doing their businesses,” he added.

To note, Iranian and Armenian trade officials signed a trade agreement in a meeting in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan last week.

The trade agreement was signed by the chairmen of the chambers of commerce of Tehran and Yerevan.
