Armenian Genocide is recognized all over the world, now it is turn for Ukraine, famous human rights activist Tatyana Montyan said in an interview with Analitika.at.ua.

Montyan supports the initiative on the Armenian Genocide’s recognition in the Ukrainian parliament.

Ukrainian MPs, intellectuals, representatives of NGOs are actively supporting recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

“Armenians’ example shows how a tragedy can unite a nation and make it stronger,” deputy head of Situations Modeling Agency Aleksey Golobutskiy said.

As informed earlier, a bill on the Armenian Genocide’s recognition was registered on June 6 in the Verkhovna Rada. Ukrainian parliament members Arsen Avakov and Vilen Shatvoryan are the persons behind this law proposal.
