A group of active youth from Armenia’s Vanadzor city is proposing a new solution on how to draw people’s attention to environmental issues, “EcoLur” NGO reports.

They started converting an old bus near Lori Regional Library in Vanadzor into an EcoBus. They repair, paint, and grow flowers in it.

These activities are carried out along the lines of the “EcoBus” project, which was launched on July 18 and will continue till September.

The objective of this project is to give a new look to the old machinery and objects, which will result in creating new and beautiful eco pasture centers for residents and tourists.

“The project will inspire the city population to draw people’s attention to environmental issues and to create more green areas,” initiative group member Arevik Charchyan told EcoLur.

She added that the idea of an “EcoBus” had come about as a result of an “EcoLab” seminar that was held within the framework of the “Joint Civic Education” program.
