YEREVAN. – In the first half of 2013, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin paid 128,300,000 drams (approx. $309,040) in taxes to the Armenian state budget, informs the State Revenue Committee. 

Overall, Holy Etchmiadzin is ranked 418th in the list of Armenia’s large taxpayers.

More than 90 percent of the taxes, which the Mother See has paid, are direct taxes: profit tax and income tax.
