YEREVAN. – Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan on Tuesday received newly appointed Indian Ambassador to Armenia, Suresh Babu. 

Gasparyan expressed satisfaction in connection with the police involvement in the Armenian-Indian cooperation programs, informs the Armenian Police media department.  

The chief of police also noted that the modernization of the police system also includes training of the police officers and technical provision of the police services, and the ongoing respective collaboration with the colleagues in India has already yielded results. 

In turn Ambassador Babu introduced several new programs for collaboration with Armenia’s Police, and he assured that the partnership will continue and broaden.    

The interlocutors also discussed other matters of mutual interest.
