YEREVAN. – The former US government policy toward Iran is no longer topical. 

Iranian Studies specialist Rudik Yaralyan said the aforementioned during a press conference on Tuesday. 

Yaralyan reflected on the tightening US sanctions upon Iranian oil exports. 

In his words, the US policy would be considered justified to some extent in the context of the former political processes. But everything is different now.   

The analyst also noted that mutual concessions are a mandatory precondition for the resolution of the nuclear issue.
