Russian Federation Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev refuted the assumption that the Eurasian Union is an attempt at restoring the ex-Soviet Union and Russia’s influence in the post-Soviet expanse.
In an interview with Rustavi 2 TV of Georgia, Medvedev noted that the re-establishment of the ex-USSR is indispensable for no one.
He stated, however, that the Eurasian Union is a means to live together in a more civilized and modern way.
The RF PM also assured that this project is realistic and that Russia’s goods turnover with Belarus and Kazakhstan has increased by 40-50 percent.
