YEREVAN. – Information was received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, on Saturday at around 3:53am, that an accident had occurred on the Yerevan-Batumi motorway, nearby Aspindza city, in the early morning hours.   

A Georgian police car had crashed into a Mitsubishi with Armenian license plates, for yet unknown reasons, informs the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.   

As a result of the collision, Mitsubishi’s driver M. Poghosyan, his wife T. Poghosyan, and their children A. and G. Poghosyan were injured.    

G. Poghosyan is in satisfactory condition, whereas the others were transferred to the Aspindza city hospital in Georgia.
