Toughening of Russia’s migration policy has to lead to certain stabilization and normalization of policy at a completely new level, Russian political analyst says.
Alexander Karavayev believes new migration policy can bring certain control over the level of corruption. These measures used should have a disciplinary effect on employers and large Russian companies.
“Such police will benefit the rights of the migrants as well as normalization of the migration labor market,” he told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Head of the Russian federal migration service Yelena Radochina said Russia plans to toughen its migration policy. A new bill setting rules on temporary residence permission will come into effect in the second quarter of 2014.
