YEREVAN. – The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has not yet met with Hakob Injighulyan.

The ICRC delegation members in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan told the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am. The members also noted that they cannot yet say when they will be able to see this Armenian boy, since the respective process takes time.

To note, Hakob’s cousin, Norik Injighulyan, had told Armenian News-NEWS.am that Red Cross staff members in Azerbaijan have met with Hakob Injighulyan and informed that he is doing well. “Now, there is no more news,” he had added.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, Armenian soldier Hakob Injighulyan (born in 1991) found himself in the territory under the control of the adversary. According to preliminary information, Injighulyan turned up there on Thursday at around 3am, while carrying out his military service, by crossing the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR)-Azerbaijan border, and as a result of losing his orientation in the area. An investigation is underway to determine the details of the incident, the NKR MOD press service had informed.
