YEREVAN. – Armenian solider Arthur Asoyan wounded by an Azerbaijani sniper has no life-threatening wounds, head of Defense Ministry’s hospital Aram Asaturyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Asaturyan said a surgery is not needed. If no complications arise, Asoyan may be discharged from hospital in several days.
On Friday morning servicemen of N military unit Norair Petrosyan and Arthur Asoyan, both being wounded, were found in a post. The soldiers were taken to Agarak hospital where Norair Petrosyan died. The incident was registered in the morning near Agarak on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Arthur Asoyan sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
