YEREVAN. – Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on August 23 visited Firuz Faragev who is being held in Armenian captivity.

The ICRC Yerevan office confirmed information for Armenian News-NEWS.am. He was handed over a letter from his relatives. The ICRC delegates will convey his letter, too.

A serviceman of Azerbaijani armed forces Firuz Farajev crossed the line of the contact between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Armed Forces in July 2012. He yielded himself on the Armenian state border. The ICRC Yerevan office was immediately informed about the captive.
