The palace of congress in the city of Montélimar in France will be named after Charles Aznavour.

World famous signer has already given his permission to the authorities, Le Dauphiné Libéré writes.

The opening ceremony of the palace will take place in October, and will be attended by the singer himself and other representatives of showbiz.

Charles Aznavour visited Montélimar in 2010 when he was invited by the municipality and local Armenian community to open a square named after his friend Charles Trenet.
