YEREVAN. – Regular session of the Interior Ministers’ Council of the CIS member states was convened Tuesday in Kazakhstan’s capital city Astana.

An Armenian delegation, led by First Deputy Police Chief Hunan Poghosyan, also attended the event.   

The participants discussed the priority tasks in the cooperation among the ministries of internal affairs (police) of the CIS countries, and the implementation of the interstate program on combating crime.

The discussants also examined the preparation of the concept for the development of cooperation among the ministries of internal affairs until the year 2020, and several other key issues, informs the Armenian Police press service.    

In addition, Poghosyan delivered remarks concerning the priority tasks in the cooperation among the ministries of internal affairs (police) of the CIS countries, and the implementation of the interstate program on combating crime.
