ALEPPO. – Three Armenians were kidnapped several days ago in Aleppo, a source told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to the source, Hovsep Muradyan, Gevorg Hayrapetyan and Tigran Berberyan were kidnapped from Sheikh Nachar district in Aleppo. Other details are not available.

As reported earlier, a month ago Syrian rebels kidnapped two Armenian young men who were heading to Armenia via Turkey.

Overall 60-70 thousands Armenians were residing in Syria before the bloody events. More than half of them lived in Aleppo and the other half was scattered in the cities of Latakia, Homs, Qamishli, Hasaka, Raqqah, Kessab and, of course, the capital - Damascus.
