YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Health Minister Derenik Dumanyan received a group of well-known Armenian neurologists from the United States and Canada.   

To note, the neurologists are in capital city Yerevan to attend the international conference titled, “Stroke Treatment.” 

The minister highly appreciated the Armenian specialists’ assistance in the founding of the Vascular Neurosurgery Center in Yerevan, and in the development of neurology service in Armenia.

The Diaspora-Armenian neurologists informed that their main objective is to be helpful to the Homeland and to play a part in the good health of the Armenian nation.      

The interlocutors agreed that this service needs to be developed further, and they discussed the next steps in this direction. 

The Diaspora-Armenian neurologists also pledged to assist in the training of specialists, providing consultations, and in several other matters.     

In turn Dumanyan expressed willingness to assist in the development of neurology. 

Furthermore, the minister briefed the guests on the ongoing reforms and the future plans in Armenia’s health sector.
