YEREVAN. – The cultural component has great place in the Armenia-Poland bilateral cooperation framework. 

Armenia’s Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan noted the aforesaid Thursday during her talk with Bogdan Zdrojewski, Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, who is in Armenia on an official visit.    

The parties underscored the 2011 signing of the agreement on cooperation between the governments of Armenia and Poland, informs the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Culture. In this context, Poghosyan reflected on Armenia’s participation in Warsaw Book Festival.

Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed the recent projects that were carried out within the framework of the Eastern Partnership, and the Armenian and Polish cultural figures’ participation in international film and theater festivals.       

They also discussed holding, in 2015, Armenian Culture Days in Poland and, reciprocally, Polish Culture Days in Armenia.   

Bogdan Zdrojewski thanked Hasmik Poghosyan for the warm reception and for maintaining the Armenian-Polish cultural ties at the proper level.
