Archbishop of the Constantinople patriarchate of the Armenian Apoistolic Church Shahan Sivaciyan passed away in Istanbul at the age of 87.

He is one of the prominent clerics of the Armenian patriarchate of Constantinople, Agos newspaper writes.

“Sivaciyan was a prominent representative of the patriarchate, and his death is a big loss for the Armenian community of Istanbul.”

The funeral of archbishop will take place on September 30 at the cemetery of the Surb Khach church.
