YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) has suspended operations as of September 22, 1:20am.
The operations are halted for refueling, carrying out planned annual maintenance, and increasing the level of safety.
The respective work will last for 54 days, informs the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources press service.
The NPP is scheduled to resume operations on November 16.
