YEREVAN. – Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan received Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Armenia Ayimdos Bozzhigitov.  

They discussed the Green Bridge Partnership Programme (GBPP), which is an initiative by Kazakhstan, and whose objective is to promote green economy, specifically green energy, informs the Nature Protection Ministry press service.     

To note, the GBPP Charter is planned to be signed during the international conference, which will be held from September 30 to October 1 in Kazakh capital city Astana, and Armenia likewise has received an invitation to participate in this event. 

Harutyunyan stressed that Armenia supports such initiatives. 

Armenia’s Nature Protection Minister and the Kazakh ambassador also discussed the avenues for invigorating cooperation between both countries in the domain of nature protection and preparing a relevant memorandum.
