YEREVAN. – UK Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Aves announced opening of the British Days in Armenia that will be held under “Britain is ...” motto.

During the Monday press conference, Ambassador Aves presented the goals and program of the events that will last till November 1.

Concerts, movie screenings, performances and seminars will be held within the British days. The events will cover different areas – politics, media, culture, sport and entrepreneurship.  

Ambassador Aves said he is hopeful the events will bring new momentum for cooperation between the nations and countries.

Within British days in Armenia, Lance Price, former media advisor to PM Tony Blair, will travel to Armenia to hold meetings and share his experience with the representatives of political circles, newspaper editors and civic activists.

Filmmaker Sean McAllister will hold master classes and present his films. The Days will feature meeting with the teachers of English, a forum of astrophysicists, a conference promoting investments and a football match between the fans of Arsenal and Manchester United.
