ETCHMIADZIN. – The official opening of the Carl and Emma Soghoyan Manuscript Gallery was held Monday at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The event was presided over by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

In loving memory of her husband Carl, Emma Soghoyan, a benefactor of the Armenian Church, donated twenty-two manuscripts and the first printed Armenian-language Bible to Holy Etchmiadzin.     

Aside from the donated manuscripts, some rare documents from the Mother See archives likewise are displayed in the newly opened hall.
