Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan met with his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani on the sidelines of the 129th Assembly of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva.

According to the Iranian media, the sides discussed issues related to development of bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as regional and international processes.

Ali Larijani said economic and parliamentary relations between the states will expand, calling Armenia a friendly and fraternal state.
