Georgia has the highest level of media freedom among Eastern Partnership member states. This is indicated in the research conducted as a result of the Civil Society Forum in Chisinau.

The second plays goes to Moldova which is followed by Armenia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Belarus showed the worst results with 414 points, as compared with Georgia’s 1,222 points.

The research was held from March to June and involved the member states of Eastern Partnership program. The experts noted that only freedom of media, not the quality was assessed, Belnovosti reported.
