YEREVAN. - Three pharmaceutical companies in Armenian have applied for the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificate. 

Samvel Zakaryan, Chairman of the Union of Drug Manufacturers and Importers of Armenia, noted the abovementioned during a press conference on Monday. 

In his words, the remaining four pharmaceutical companies have submitted the government a timetable, in line with which they likewise will pass to the GMP standards by the year 2015. 

As per Zakaryan, Armenia has selected the European model for the GMP standards and already translated it into Armenian. But some directives are not translated because they are dynamically changing.
